framed with crushed brown paper.

 Animal soft toys on display.

Pizza Making

A pictorial guide on how to make a pizza at the dramatic corner.

A step by step guide in making a pizza for a customer.
The pizza slices were sewn together using felt pineapple, salami and cheese
were added to the pizza. Through the process, children learn to sequence the steps,
count, divide the ingredients equally on the pizza slices and they learn to do grouping.

First, place the pizza slices onto a tray...

Place one pineapple slice on each piece...

Next 2 pieces of salami...

And 3 pieces of cheese...

Bake it in the oven and ... it's ready to eat!

Teaching Aids

Counting Birthday Candles

Magnetic strips were placed between the laminated cake sheet and mounting board.
Smaller strips of magnets were also attached to the candles. This activity is used for the theme 'Myself' or 'I have a Birthday'. Preschoolers are encouraged to do count and do simple one-to one correspondence.
For Kindergarten level, I would cut out number words and have them match
them to the  numerals.

Supermarket on Mars

This is an extension to Rigby Rocket's 'Supermarket on Mars'.
I made a shopping cart and had children pick out a picture card and have them say
"In goes.....into the shopping cart" This activity helps children to use the proper terms such as 'a bar of chocolate'; 'a box of cereals'; 'a loaf of bread' and so forth.

Food Display
Fishball Mee Pok.
GNoodles made with cotton yarn. Green and red electrical tape are used for the garnishing -spring onions and chilli. Fishballs are made using crushed toilet paper or kitchen towel with water and PVA glue. You need to squeeze them hard to form the shape.

Meatball Spaghetti
Meatballs are painted brown and the spaghetti is painted with yellow Ochre. As for the tomato sauce, I cut out a circle from a kitchen towel and dab in some dark red paint.
